A small, owner-run homeware shop at 846 Melrose Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts, serving customers across the United States since 2016.
Who we are
Aljarash Home LLC is owned and run by Jennifer Johnson. Before opening the shop, Jennifer spent eleven years buying furniture and accessories for interiors firms around New England, which is where the buying standard came from: fewer suppliers, longer relationships, and no product on the shelf that she would not put in her own kitchen.
The business is deliberately small. Two people handle buying, photography, packing and customer support. That means slower restocks than a national retailer, and it also means the person who answers the phone is the person who wrapped your order.
What we sell
Tableware, bedding, glassware, storage and small decor for the home. Around 70% of what we carry is made in the United States; the remainder comes from Portuguese ceramics workshops and Lithuanian flax mills we have visited in person.
How we price
One clear price per item, shown in U.S. dollars. No permanent fake discounts, no countdown timers, and no handling fee added at checkout. Standard shipping is a flat $6.95 and free over $75.

Four commitments we hold ourselves to on every order.
Honest stock
If an item is out of stock, the site says so. We would rather lose a sale than take money for something sitting on a boat.
Careful packing
Recycled kraft honeycomb, double-boxing for ceramics and glass, and a packing list checked twice before the box is taped.
Plain policies
30-day returns, refunds to the original payment method, and no restocking fees. The policy pages say exactly what happens.
Real support
One phone number, one inbox, answered by the two of us within one business day — usually much faster.
Less waste
Recycled and curbside-recyclable packaging, no plastic void fill, and reused inbound cartons where they are still in good shape.
Local first
We work with New England woodshops and a Massachusetts print studio for our cards and labels.
